H.E Ambassador Agnes Richard Kayola, High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Republic of Malawi, attended the Umthetho Culture Festival 2024, at Hora Mountain in Mzimba. Under the theme “Uniting Against Climate Change” in the decade of His Majesty Inkosi ya Makosi Mmbelwa V's reign. The Umthetho Cultura Fastival is an annual Ngoni event organized by the Mzimba Heritage Association (MZIHA) with the delegated powers from the Mmbelwa Chiefs Council whose Life Chairperson is His Majesty Inkosi ya Makosi Mmbelwa V. Moreover, Umthetho Culture Festival celebrates the traditional heritage of the Ngoni of Mzimba (Zwangendaba Ngoni). The event features traditional dances (with Ingoma being the key); and speeches.

His Excellency Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi was the Guest of Honor at the festival. Other invited guest including Government officials, Chiefs from various provinces, a delegation representing His Majesty the King of Zulu Nation. From Tanzania, Chief Inkosi ya Makosi Zulu Gama 1, from Ruvuma, Songea, who was accompanied by other chiefs as follows: Inkosi Mgendela Gama 1,  Inkosi Mputa Gama 1, Inkosi Hawai Gama 1, Inkosi Songea Mbano 1, Induna Markcelin Gama, Inkosi Issa Mpambalyoto were also in attendance
